Blocked ears from flying?

I was on a flight a week ago and in the last couple of days my left ear has been a little bit sore, and seems blocked. I have to be on a plane on a plane again in 5 days time, I am getting checked out at the doctors this afternoon, but wanted to know if its safe to fly while I have this annoyance?!

Do what the doctor says. Next time this happens, get Debrox at your local drug store and follow the dirrections. It will clear your ears out. I use to have this same issue when flying or sometimes diving. My Doctor told me about Debrox ear wash out.
