What should I bring on my first skiing trip, in Canada?

  • Hi, My husband and I are taking our first skiing trip ever, in Canada for a week. I have skied a bunch of times in high school but am still a beginner (now 31 yo) and my husband skied once, snowboarded a couple times. We are going to take some lessons in snowboarding which appeals more to us. What should we bring on our vacation, and what should we expect?? We are coming from Boston, driving. We own no real ski gear and are not sure what to expect. How long does an average newbie couple last on bunny hills? Two hours at a time? Suggestions appreciated! Thanks!! :-)
