SC Beach Vacation packing tips?

okie, so i'm going to south carolina on july 18th for a week, it's a HUGE family reunion/vacation and i'm not sure what to pack. I ALWAYS over pack, (mostly clothes) so can you please help me with what to pack in general? and how many clothes to pack? p.s. we live about 13 hours away and we are leaving the night before so any tips for the super long drive would also be appreciated.

Over packing is fine. It is better to over pack then to underpack. What you need to do is make a list of things to pack so you don't forget anything. I am about to go on vacation also so that's what I am doing. I am also going in car for like a whole day which is a bummer but its fine. okay things you should bring... even tho your going for 7 days it is good to have extras trust me. 8 shirts 8 shorts or jeans 8 socks 8 undies Bras Dresses Pajamas Bathing suit Shoes Sandals Glass or contacts if you wear Sun glasses Lotion Tooth brush Tooth paste Deodorant Hair brush Razors Tampons/pads Shampoo Conditioner Ponytails Make up Ipod Ipod charger Phone charger and more if you can add. A lot of this stuff you might not need but it is good to have just in case you never know. For the car ride make sure you have stuff to entertain your self with like you ipod and books or games. I hope this helps a lot.
