How much luggage can one carry on a Korean train?

Should I bring a carry on luggage or check one in?

• I am going to Chicago for 18 days and as of right now, I have a carry on luggage for my items. But because I am a female, I have so much I want to bring. So I was wondering if it is best to just bring a large luggage and just check it in instead of restricting the amount I bring into a small luggage for carry on.... I would prefer to bring a carry on luggage over checking it in because I don't have to worry about it getting lost and it is just more convient for me. But carry on luggages are not that big and I don't want to squish everything in or not bring certain things that I would like to. What should I do? Pros and cons of carry on luggage and check-in luggages?

  For me, I prefer to bring one big bag and check it. I don't like trying to drag the suitcase around everywhere with me, I would rather pay the money and not have to worry about it. Also, for a trip that long, you will want to bring more items. Where exactly are you going? To a friend or relative's house? You can ship yourself a large box of your own clothes to grandma's house. It may be cheaper than the carry on fee and grandma can receive the package and keep it safe until you get there.
