How to bring a laptop from USA to Portugal?

I need a laptop couriered to me from USA to India. What customs charges do I pay?

I want to order an online retailer for a laptop which is going to be sent to me via courier. The shipping charges are also paid for. However, I have no idea about the custom duties and all. How much will they charge for a 1599$ laptop? Also, the laptop is also available in India for an obscene amount of money, will that also factor in? I have searched a lot on the net for custom duties and nothing straightforward can be found. I just want the charges, procedure etc for customs, not advice on how someone can bring it in with him for free.
