Warm Vacation Packing Tips?

My friends are going on vacation to hawaii, any packing tips, what to take with them?

• Any last minute advise on what sites are a must when they get there (other than the site seeing stuff) great restaurant musts or great sites that are a must?

  What they pack depends on when they are coming to Hawaii. I would definately suggest they bring along their swimsuit, warm weather clothes, camera, hat, and sunscreen. They may want to bring along with them a lightweight jacket too (just in case). As for restaurants, we have many great restaurants here so the great ones depend on what they're willing to spend and what type of food they are looking for. I would suggest they definately make a trip to Zippy's at least once. Zippy's offers many different choices and they are likely to be able to eat there every day of their vacation and not eat the same thing twice! Must see sites are Pearl Harbor where you can see WWII history all in the same place with the USS Arizona and the USS Missouri in the same harbor (start and end of US involvement in WWII), hike Diamond Head (it's a tourist trap but the view is amazing), Polynesian Cultural Center (it's a long way from Waikiki but you'll learn all sorts of things that you never knew about Polynesia), and the Pali Lookout (make sure they bring along that jacket....it's WINDY but the view is amazing!).
