How long does standard shipping take?

How long will standard shipping take on Amazon?

  • I ordered the Twilight box set (yay) with standard shipping on Amazon, and right now it is February 4th, and it's estimation date says it will arrive in the middle of March! I thought standard shipping was supposed to take about a couple days to a week. Is their estimation wrong, or will it really take that long? Thanks.

  • Answer:

Drizzy, if you are getting the Twilight Special Edition for $24.98, you pre-ordered it, as it is not being released until March 17, and yours will be shipped as soon as Amazon gets the CD' s in, and you will probably receive your copy about the 23rd of March. Regards, Dan

This is the TRAVEL section, but I can try to help. Twilight isn't even out on DVD yet, so you can't get it before it's released. The time it takes to ship depends on where it ships from and where you are. I've had saver shipping (the free one) take 2 weeks from Amazon. This is directly from the Twilight ad on Amazon: This title will be released on March 21, 2009. Pre-order now! Here is the help page on Amazon regarding shipping. http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=hy_f_3?ie=UTF8&nodeId=468520 Perhaps it will offer further information.

Standard shipping means in 3 to 5 business days it'll ship out of Amazon and then extra time *after that* to get to you. However, it shouldn't take a month unless you live far away or they're out of stock.
