How much to ship a dog from us to uk?

Is there any way to ship my belongings to the UK if I decide to move there?

• I probably should have asked, "What's the cheapest way to ship a lot of stuff to the UK"? Moving to the UK is an option I'm keeping open. Just in case I decide to some day (I live in the US). But I never knew how I'd move there when I own so many things that I would NOT want to get rid of. Would I have no choice but to pay THOUSANDS just to ship my stuff over there? I have a ton of video games, DVD's and CD's etc. that I would want to ship. Plus all of my stereo and computer equipment. My girlfriend says I could get a shipping courier. But even THAT would probably cost thousands. All I know is that even when I ship a small 10 lb parcel to the UK it usually costs me between 40-60 US dollars (or more). It's always higher than I expect it to be.

  Unless you find employment with a company that will pay to ship your things, it really does not make a lot of sense to ship a lot of things to the UK from the US. It might make more sense to store the stuff you really want to keep. I don't know how old you are, but as you get older you may find that stuff is not that important. The cheapest way to ship your things would be surface shipping - by sea. Check with any shipping/moving company and they will be able to point you in the right direction., even if they don't actually do that type of shipping themselves.
