Can you bring water on a plane now?

Can I bring a bottle of Vitamin Water on the plane?

  • I'm a vitamin water nut, and I won't be able to go the very short plane ride *two hours, 15 minutes* without my vitamin waterr!! If I buy a couple bottles, can I take them on the plane if they are unopened? Like, if the seal is not broken. I know I wouldn't be allowed to take it if it was open, but if the seals not broken will I be able to take it right on the plane??

    The issue is not the Airplane, it is security. You cannot go through security with the bottles!!! However, if you buy them after security at one of the food places, you can bring it on the plane - opened or unopened!!!

Yes :) You just have to buy it in the airport AFTER security check.

Yes you can bring a bottle onto the plane. It doesn't matter if its open or not. However, you will have to buy it at the airport. You won't be able to take it through the TSA security checkpoint.

Not in the US. I have to have plain water when I travel, so I bring my own container. When I go through security, my water bottle has to be empty. I then have to fill it up again after going through security. Most airports have plenty of shops where you can pay a ton of money for all the vita-water you need, but you can't take it through.
