I'm going on on road trip in a Month, a long one. What shoud I pack?
-
I'm Driving from Vermont, to Florida. Basically. I'm stopping in NY to pick up one of my "Homies" lol. I've never exactly made a trip this far in a car before. So i really do need some guidance. Like, food, fair driving time between us, sleeping, clothes, etc. This may seem obsurd, but I'm taking my '93 Honda accord. hehe. But its only got 26,000 Miles on it. I took it out of the garage a few weeks ago, and got it running better than my '09. I'm definitely confident in it making it there. but also, how much money should I be prepared to spend? I'm 23, and my freind is 22. Thankfully, I never got to the point were I'd eat my self outa house and home, so I'm not too worried about that. But I also don't wanna stop and sleepat motels, Because its a waste to me. We both can pass out in the seat pretty easily, as we agree'd upon. lol. So, what to be prepared for? the longest trip I've made so far was to NC, but thats not very comparable to FL, since then i was also traveling solo.

Answer:
i love road trips and go all the time. our longest one was from San Diego, ca to fort lauderdale. though we were in an RV. lol for food since you'lll be in your accord look for more things that don't need refrigeration. like apples or trail mix or chips things like that. and defiantly bring a cooler for drinks and on some trips we bring thinks to make sandwiches like deli meats and mayo and keep those in the cooler so we aren't just eating fast food. fair driving time that's up to you guys and how long you can last and the hours can vary. whenever you feel too tired to drive just pull over and have your bud drive. sleeping may be difficult, but i would defiantly bring pillows and blankets, obv. so the passenger seat isn't so uncomfy. clothes, for as long as your driving trip is (3 days, a week, etc) bring that many days worth of clothes in addition to two more days worth (if that makes sense. lol) 'cause you never know what could happen. and then when Youre there you can do your wash. be prepared to spend a lot of money. since gas prices and taxes range by state you can never really have a set price. and be prepared for anything. accidents, bathroom emergencies, flat tires, traffic, rain, construction, etc. you never know what's gonna happen.
