Does USPS deliver late?

Does usps deliver packages the same time as the letter/bills? usps....not ups.?

  • Hi, i bought something off of ebay and it said it was goin to come today, but i got my mail and there was no package. The package is holding a new xbox 360 controller and i was wonder if they would deliver it at a different time or will they just wait longer. i looked up the tracking number on their website and it say that the package has made it thru the processed thru the mail place in my state and is out for delivery. It said it was out for delivery at 8:59, it is now 11:30 and i was wondering if they will just put it with tomorows mail or deliver it? please comment back

To answer you question it all depends on a few factors. How it was sent, how big the package is and if there is an office in an apartment complex. if it will fit in a mailbox safely they can leave it there, if it requires a Signature they wont. they may check to see if the front office of an apartment complex accepts packages for the residents. when they try to deliver, there is normally note that says they have been there and they will try the next day.

USPS deliveries only come once a day - and they don't come back later. Have you ever gotten two different mail deliveries in one day? I suggest that you call or stop by your local post office. If you have a tracking number, then the person there should be able to tell you more.

sometimes, mail and packages are delivered by 2 different people. Your package would be delivered by the parcel drivers. if you gotten your mail, but no package, keep waiting. Sometimes those drivers come by later in the day.

No usually its 2 different people that deliver. Your normal mailman will deliver your mail, while a different person from the post office will deliver your package at some other time in the day.

Sometimes but usually not. I've had letters and packages delivered at separate times by the USPS.
