What should I pack for my family's cruise?

How far in advance would you start preparing what to pack for a cruise?

  • I am not asking about making a list. What is the earliest you have started to gather or purchase items that you will take on a cruise? For example: filling travel size bottles with shampoo, buying travel size personal items, purchasing new clothes and putting it aside for the cruise. I am just trying to decide if I am crazy. My cruise is in 97 days.

definitely not crazy! you don't have to be making lists yet but if you see something you're going to need, no reason why you shouldn't buy it. have a great cruise!

I make a list about 6 weeks in advance and start buying the things I need so I can tick them off the list. This means you won't have to buy everything the week before and you won't forget anything. Have fun on your cruise!!!

That's a bit early, but you aren't crazy...just excited! I would probably start about a month in advance...unless I saw something I really wanted for the cruise!
