How expensive is a trip to London?

Help! how much money to bring for a london trip!?

  • hi... im going to london in november,me and a friend..they say london is expensive. and i want to know,where only staying for to days.how much money is enough for spots like the Namco Station,the london aquarium, museums,and a nice restaurant.including transportation-tube and bus....i was thinking 450 pounds to cover us both,but i know i might be dreaming.so please tell me what i should be saving up.thanks.. ps. i already booked the hotel so that's cover already.

    UK reply You say.......only staying for to days.........if you are only staying for 2 days 450pounds for 2 people is plenty as long as you don't frequent the EXPENSIVE restaurants (one is OK!) and don't use taxis!

It depends what you want to do and where you'd like to go. London is expensive, more expensive than the European Union. When I went there, a mediocre breakfast combo was eight pounds. That is double in American dollars. Hostel was 40pounds a night, which would be roughly 80dollars. I would say bring AT LEAST 500 Pounds cash, your ATM card and credit card. Better to be safe than sorry!
