How long does it take to deliver a letter to Hong Kong China?

  I'd say it's still on the way, but should be getting there pretty soon. I've had LOTS of experience with the Chinese mail system, having lived in Northwest China for 6 months, and have to say that it varies a LOT. I've had stuff get to me in Lanzhou, China from Texas in a week, and I've had stuff take 2 months get to me. It just depends on if the person working in the post offices along the way feel like sorting out a lot of mail in a given day, if their English (or any other language) is good, because many times they have to call a translator who is not available, and lots of other factors. It's kind of a hit-and-miss thing. If I had important mail to send, I would've sent it a month ahead of time.
