Questions about baggage allowance on connecting flights?
-
Ok so Im going home after a year in the States, however my flight is not direct and I have a connecting flight in Canada and my final destination is London UK. I have checked on the airfrance website and it says my allowance is 23kg with an additional fee of $55 for extra checked in bags. My question is will I have to pay TWICE for my extra bag? I can't see anywhere on the website that helps with this answer? And I really won't have the money to do that ... but seen as I will be in Canada for no more than 2hours surely my bags will go straight through to London? Can anyone help me PLEASE

Answer:
The fee will pay for your bags to your final destination. The fact that there is a connection does not mean the fee applies to each leg. It's like your airfare. One fae to get you there. Have a nice visit back home in the UK!
