What is the Best way to send a FRAGILE item to Sri Lanka?

I want to send a Computer Graphic Card from NYC to Sri Lanka. I heard it's unsafe to send fragile items through Sri Lankan Customs (via Lanka Standard Postal Service). Is it true? Then what is the best option? thanx

I would suggest sending it air. It may be a little more money, but it will get there faster, and they can take more care of it vs. having ti send through the postal service.
