How long does Expedited Shipping take on Amazon?

• I placed an order on a CD on amazon today and I used Expedited Shipping instead of standard shipping like I usally do this is my first time using Expedited Shipping on Amazon and I want to know the percise date it will come. Someone with experience or who's used Expedited Shipping before how long will it take it say up to 2-7 business day but will it take 1-2 days instead of 3 days like standard shipping?

  No one can really answer that. It depends on: - Exactly when the item gets into the hands of the shipping company. Expedited shipping does not necessarily mean that the order itself is handled more quickly. Someone still has to pull the item from inventory, box it, label it, generate the invoice and get it to the shipper. We can't tell how long that will take. To me, and you no doubt, it seems like that should only take about 10 minutes, but it is quite unpredictable. - How far it is from where it starts, to your house - and you don't mention either one of those things. - What the definition of "expedited shipping" is. Is it overnight? 2nd day? And, in any case, I am sorry to say, our opinion of when it will arrive will make no difference at all in when it actually does get delivered.
