  You need to use a shipping method that includes delivery confirmation whenever you are selling things. Otherwise you have no way of proving that the person who purchased it received it and you may have to refund their purchase price and shipping charges if they claim they did not get the package. You can easily fit one or two t-shirts in a USPS priority mail flat rate envelope for 1-3 day shipping. If you buy the postage online (https://sss-web.usps.com/cns/landing.do) it costs $4.75 regardless of weight so you don't need a scale and includes free delivery confirmation. The flat rate envelopes are available for free at the post office or you can order them from usps.com and they will deliver them to you for no charge (direct link to the right envelopes http://goo.gl/0K9Fa). FedEx ground is another option but about twice as expensive and twice as slow.
