How does standby work with airlines??

How can I work for the airlines? I'm a japanese citizen but most of vacancies are in Europe or US?

  • So I'm searching for all the opportunities I see , and what I'm finding is vacancies in Europe ,and U.S. Well the problem is ...In Europe they ask you to be an EU passport holder (or have a work permit with a sponsorship ,however how can I have that If I didn't received the offer, I'm just trying to apply for some vacancy, and I can't apply because I can't really know If I 'm allowed to work and l,ive in UK before hand) obviously I don't have an EU passport ...In U.S I'm having the same question as the EU work permit. I mean I'm searching with the criteria that fits to me now. Like airlines that requires fluency in japanese or portuguese, and also english.. Thank you very much even for seeing this! And sorry If the question is stupid he he

  • Answer:

If they want you because you have special skills (such as language, etc.) wouldn't the company hiring you sponsor that? You won't know until you apply & then speak to a recruiter if you get selected for the interview process. My son works for an American company and his coworkers are on special visas sponsored by the company. Problem with his coworkers is that they quickly learn that they don't like the company but they can't easily move on to another company.
