Is it possible to ship luggage?

How can I ship luggage from Korea to California?

  • I am living in South Korea and I am planning on sending some luggage home. I went to the post office and they don't ship luggage there and only ship rather small boxes. I have been having a really hard time trying to find somewhere that ships oversized boxes/luggage for not crazy expensive. Any ideas?

Do you want to ship suitcases, or more specifically the contents? If the latter, it would of course be easier to just put the contents in boxes for shipping. This quote from a Lonely Planet forum discussing the topic: I bought about five boxes from the post office and made my own box around my suitcase. The post office accepted it fine. The only problem was I wanted to send it surface (cheaper), but the size of my box was too big. I had to send it express. It weighted about 29 KG and cost just under 200,000 won.
