• I'm going to hong kong on vacation for two weeks, and I'm going to be packing soon. What are some important things people commonly forget to pack, or that I should remember to buy ahead of time?

  I always forget to pack my comb. The list of things to bring can be short, I always start with the important items, go on to clothing, top to toe from the skin out and end with the 'nice but can be missed'. I always forget to list nighties when I make a list for someone else, but that might be because I mostly sleep in my used T-shirt. Passport, money and a way to get more money like your bank card and credit card, driving license, insurance papers, car papers if traveling by car. Underwear, T-shirts, sweater or long sleeved shirt. Jeans, socks, shoes. Swim gear, towel, toilet bag with what you use at home, if in small amounts. Phone, music player, camera with extra memory cards and chargers for them, if you travel to a country with different plugs you might need a plug adapter and should check whether your electronics can take the different voltage. Notebook, something to keep you busy like during a long flight or at your destination when there is nothing on TV. If you are going to camp, you will have to add your camp gear. I would not bring snacks but buy them there, on the other hand, if you travel by car you want them with you. Of course, when traveling by car you will need the first aid kit for on the road for you and for your car. And yes, I forgot them again, nighties if you wear something at night and a comb.
