Can I pack a small fan in my checked luggage?

Can i pack wine in my checked luggage?

  • I am flying from Philly to the US Virgin Islands. Can I pack wine in my checked luggage?

  • Answer:

Yes, you can, although you should pack it VERY well to prevent the bottle from breaking. I would get some bubble wrap or foam pellets or something, as well as a box for the wine. Baggage handlers can be quite rough tossing baggage about. The only rules you need to follow when packing alcohol in your checked baggage are rules concerning alcohol content. You CAN, but it may not be there when you get to your destination; things get stolen from luggage all the time. And it may not be in one piece. If it breaks, it will leak all over your things and other passengers' things. Not really worth it. BTW - You cannot take alcohol in your carry-on.

I do it all the time. I recommend spending a couple of dollars for a wine skin....it's the bubbble wrap sold in the shape of a wine bag. I've never had a problem.

Yes. Put it in your carry on though!
