What should I pack for a trip up North?

What should I pack for a Grand Canyon trip?

• Next April vacation some of my classmates and I are going to the Grand Canyon for six days!!! Yes!!! The thing is, I don't know what to pack!! Obviously I know to pack clothes, shoes, my camera, and toiletries, but what else should I pack? Luggage is kind of expensive on our airline, so I need to pack light...any ideas? Plus, what should I wear on the flight there and back? We're leaving at 3:00am, and I think my jeans, sweatshirt, and a T-shirt should be okay...what do you think? We're flying back at night, to let you know... Oh, and FINALLY(finally!!), what should I bring to entertain myself on the flight, and what medicine should I bring in case? Thank you!!! -

  This may sound crazy but if you vacuum seal your clothes on the way there it will save you tons of room and weight! Also bring allergy meds and some antibacterial because there are so many bugs and plants, you never know what you may be allergic to. Puzzle game books are always entertaining on a flight (in my opinion) and you should always be comfortable on a plane so maybe wear sweat pants on the way home if you're flying at night.
