How do I know when I get my US passport?

Desprate help!!!! I need to know how to get a passport asap!?

• Booking a holiday in Bali, and my mate tells me she needs to get a new passport. Okay, I live in Geraldton, and if I need to go to Perth for this, am willing. What happened was her dad ripped up her passport once upon a story ago, so she once had one already, and she'll apply for a new one Monday, 7th Nov, but we need it by the 18th Nov, the flight date, so how, if not by the usual system, can we get a new passport as soon as possible??!!   Your friend needs to go to an Australia Post outlet tomorrow (Monday), get her passport photos taken there, and complete the passport form. The post office will do the rest. She needs to tell the staff she needs the passport urgently. The passport will cost AU$226, and there will be an extra $100 fee to fast track it. Australia Post needs to forward the passport application to the WA Passport Office, this can take a couple of days, then the passport office will take a further 2 days to process the passport, then return it by mail. So allow at least 6 working days. Your friend will need to take evidence of her Australian citizenship and identity: ; her full Australian birth certificate and if she was born on or after 20 August 1986, proof of one parent's Australian citizenship or permanent residency at the time of her birth; and if applicable . her Australian citizenship certificate . original identity documents that prove her identity (for example her current driver's licence) that shows her current name, address and signature; . original documents that provide proof of name changes from the name shown on her birth certificate, citizenship certificate or previous Australian passport (if applicable); . and the application fee plus priority processing fee, so a total of $326 In addition, she will need to complete a "General Declaration by passport applicant (B11) form" explaining how the passport was damaged, and is required to hand in the damaged passport.
