How long does shipping from America to the UK take?

I have ordered game from the US and its shipping on a ship to the UK. How long would it take to get to me?

  If it is traveling by cargo ship, then it makes no difference how large the package is - the ship itself takes a week or so to travel across the ocean. The package might spend 10 days sitting at the departure port in a container waiting for loading onto the right ship. Once the ship arrives in some UK port, then it gets unloaded and the container may site for another week until all the items are removed from it. Then it had to go through customs - which can take a couple of days to a couple of weeks all by itself. Finally, it has to get to some delivery service - maybe the mail service, maybe something else, for the final trip to your house. 6 to 10 weeks is probably _not_ unreasonable.
