Anyone know good websites for sustainable travel?

Does anyone know any good websites for a student wanting to travel the world?(on a budget!)?

  • I'm planning to go travelling next Summer and just wanted some tips and advice from people who have been travelling before, and any good websites that I could use? Also how much would you say I need?

just got back from travelling, have a look on STA travel and then DONT BOOK ANY HOSTELS THROUGH THEM, far too expensive, have a look on travel blog websites such as www.getjealous.com you can search blogs by country and get a real picture of where you will be going, have a look on www.hostelworld.com, www.hostels.com and www.hostelz.com they will give you hostel/hotel/camping reviews and city reviews in some cases, borrow a decent travel guide from the librarby, dont buy it cos mostly they arent that useful when your away, try and learn some of the language of where you will be going, will make it much easier. Depends on where u are going and for how long as to how much you'l need, update that and i'll update my answer
