United airlines baggage?!?!?!?

  • okay, i hear many different things. 1st question: what does united airlines charge for their baggage? i know their policies have been changing sooo, yeah. 2nd question: how many carry-ons are you allowed to have? some say one carry on AND a purse..?? 3rd question: how much is it if your baggage is over the wieght limit?? thanks guys :)

Some airlines charge hefty rates for extra checked baggage. Usually only one carry-on suitcase/bag is allowed on board. One purse is ok, although i've seen some carry a laptop bag, carry on bag and a purse on board. Just call united to verify. Cabin baggage is usually not weighed unless it's humongous looking. Some airlines charge upto $300 more for extra checked baggage.

i'm not sure for check-in prices check united.com for carry-on you're allowed 2 crayons (one for overhead bins and one that will fit in under seat) Check in bags can't weigh over 50 pounds
