How long does it take for a usps package to come from california to new york?

i bought an item (wire/cord) from ebay on 7/28/10 the seller sent it out on 7/29/10 and the shipping service is standerd shipping from usps.. the package was sent from california.. i live in new york so does anyone know a date that it will be here? or how many business days it takes?

you should have gotten it by now. takes 5 days max usually unless it got lost.
