Can I bring a bag of food onto an airplane?

I'm flying, and i want to know if i can bring food from home and bring it on the plane. I want to put some candy and poptarts into a plastic bag. Will i be able to bring this on the plane?

Yes, you can bring candy and poptarts onto the plane. You don't even need a bag. TSA restricts is liquids that are above 3 ounces. Candy and poptarts are not liquids. IF you have liquids below three ounces, you can place them into a small plastic bag.
