What do you need for kid traveling?

What is a good traveling camera?

  • This summer I am traveling to Ireland with a group of friends. We are going to work at a Kid's Camp, as well as some general sightseeing. It's going to be the trip of a lifetime and I want to have a good camera to capture it all. Unfortunately I know absolutely nothing about cameras! Basically I need something for landscape and scenery, as well as active shots of the group and kids. Hopefully for under $200 and preferably something I can keep close by without a bulky bag to carry it. I am completely lost!

    Canon Powershot range would be good for you. Go to any large electronics retailer and you will be able to select one that is good for you. You do not need anything with a resolution of greater than 7 mega pixels unless you want to produce large prints. Good luck and have fun.
