How does USPS's Flat Rate Box Shipping work?

    None, as long as you ship to a US Zip Code, including APO/FPOs, do not extend the dimensions of the box, and stay under 70 lbs. You may add (for a price) additional services. One benefit to FR boxes is that you can pay for postage (saving 15%), add some additional services, print the labels from your computer, and have your carrier pick up the item. If it fits it ships has to be under 75Lbs I think also there's no additional cost unless you want sig confirmation, insurance etc
