• ok so im a us resident originally from mexico and i sended my passpoprt to the australian embassy to get my visa (overnight shipping). how long will it take to get my visa from them because i need it before july 31 because im leaving that day and i need a visa to enter australia. please answer i will thank you so much.

  So you are a US citizen or a Mexican citizen? US citizens can have electronic visas. Instantaneous. Your travel agent can do them in as fast as it takes to type it in. They come back in seconds. One of the few countries to do that. I don't' know if a Mexican citizen can do that. worth a try. visit the airline or travel agent you bought the ticket from and see if they can do it (if you are a mexican citizen- otherwise YES they can do it for certain- automatically if you are US) You need your passport number- don't forget it,. Other then that- no telling. Prepare not go. Pray for the best.
