What is standard ground shipping?

what is standard ground shipping and how long does it take to get to my location? Shipping from Dallas, Tx to Roseville, CA This is the first time that I am using mail order prescription through Medco Health Solutions. I called and they said they shipped it 02/09/2009 via standard ground shipping. It is a controlled substance schedule II (my medication) and the Medco website says that it ships via 2 day air but when I called Medco the automated machine told me standard ground shipping. Thank you for all your help.

Answer:
Ask them for a Tracking Number so that you can see the EDT (estimated delivery time.) In future, when you order from Medco, and you want 2 Day Air - tell them up front - there will be an extra charge.
