Mail in shipping form?

• I'm thinking of buying some things online but I can't use a credit card. instead, i have an option to print out a mail in shipping form where I can mail in my money instead so I can buy it. my question is on the mail in order form it says "please include cash or money order payable to (company name). I want to know what does this mean? does this mean we can mail in cash? I know we can use checks, but I wouldn't like to use that either. they also said they accepts cash and money orders. please explain, best answer 10points. thanks

  You should never mail cash, as you'll have no way to trace it or even prove that you sent it in the event it gets lost. If you do not have a checking account, send them a money order. You can get one at the post office (a "postal" money order) or assorted other stores, such as Walmart. You'll pay a small fee for it (expect around $3 to $4) but then you'll have a verifiable record. Hang on to your half of the money order so you'll have the number and information in the event anything happens. (FYI, tracing and/or trying to get reimbursed for a lost money order is a big pain in the butt - maybe you could give someone the cash and they'll write a check for you?)
