Should i change my name back before getting a passport?

Do I need to get a new passport if I'm getting married but not changing my name ?

I am going to travel to Italy on the 31st of this month ....Do I need to change my passport or tickets if my name will not change...the only change will be my martial status....do I still need to get a new passport , name change on tickets etc ?

No need to change anything. many women keep their maiden name. just be sure to always buy tickets in the name on your passport.

You don't have to change your passport. Since the passport itself does not state whether or not someone is single, you should be fine. Just as long as your plane ticket reads the same as your passport. If you do want to change your name in your passport, I would advise you to wait until after you return from your honeymoon. You may not get it back in time for the trip and this would avoid any change fees by the airlines. so for now, no you don't need to change anything.
