Can I put my hair straighteners in my hand luggage?

Im Flying from uk to turkey I want to put them in my hand luggage for safety and because im scared of losing my case

Put the straighteners in your checked luggage - if you worry about losing your case you'll be carrying a carry-on bag that is so heavy they will not let you on the plane with it. You can always buy more hair straighteners - - even in Turkey .

Yeah. A few months ago I did the same. The british airport people were pretty cool about it so the Turkish should be too. I flew to India btw.
