What should I pack for a summer trip to Manitoba?

  • I live on Vancouver Island but was born in Alberta (lived there for 8 years and constantly visit). I am packing for a move to Kamloops in August. In the middle of this move though I am taking a road trip to Manitoba with my boyfriend to meet his family. I am wondering what I clothes I should pack and put away and what clothes I should leave out for this road trip. Is Manitoba like Alberta weather? i.e. not much warmer than 20 and should have some shorts but mostly pants and t shirts and a sweater or two? or would I be fine with just shorts and t shirts? Thanks for your help

    I live in Manitoba. This summer has been rainy which is odd for this province. It's also been fairly cool, average of about 25 degrees, normally it would get between 30-40 though. Manitoba weather is famous for being extreme, It also depends where in Manitoba your boyfriend is from, as the weather varies all across the province. If you give me a town name I should be able to tell you what to expect. Without that though. dress for everything. Really hot, and cold and rain.
