What do I pack for a 2 day trip?

What should I pack for a 3 day 2 night trip to Belgium?

  • They say its going to be muddy...And I should wear like wellyboots and fleeces.. But I still need to keep in style you know.. =P What should I pack? Thanks! xx

    The old rule of thumb is to lay out what you need and then take half the clothes and twice the money. (It sounds silly, but it's true!) Wellingtons will be heavy in your carry-on luggage. Take a pair of sensible walking shoes and one pair of dress shoes if you plan to go to the club or something. Take pants, primarily, t-shirts or plain shirts for touring, one nice one for going out, underclothes, etc. Take three good jackets, one heavier, one zip-up, and preferably one weather-resistant.

You should bring a lot of money, cos there are quite a lot of good stuff to buy there.

Depends where you're going. If you're going to Brussels or another city, keep to smartish clothes. Wear silk underwear and a wool coat and sturdy boots (but not wellies or walking boots). If you're in the country, pile on the fleeces and wellies and just make sure you're warm all over.
