What would you pack on a road trip?

I am going on a road trip from Texas to North Carolina. I have no idea what I should pack. There are two adults and two children going including me. we are driving straight through. We will be driving in the day and in the night. Please give me ideas on what to pack. I need ALL the help I can get. Please answer. Thanks.

Well for the drive... food and drinks of course.bring a small cooler put lunch meat in it and small fruit (grapes berries) chips. Extra pair of warmer and cooler clothes for each person pillow/blankets. Cell Phone (even if pre-paid), Car Jack with Spare Tire, Source of entertainment word search mini car games etc.. Baby wipes(can come in very handy) Small Gas Can(full), Flashlight, Map and Extra Copy of Directions (even if you have a GPS) First aid Kit, Sunglasses for driver. Have your family doctor phone number jic. Enough clothes for each day for everyone. Extra Jacket for everyone. Umberella, Camera, Food Drink and Entertainment plans again. Body Wash and Shampoo deodorant everyones toothbrush. Hair Brush. If possible Extra Shoes for Everyone Before you go you should make sure all of your cars fluids are full and oil change is still w/ in time and will not over exceed. If you do not have AAA check with your insurance about roadside.
