What's the least expensive shipping from the USA to Germany?

• I'm an exchange student from germany and I will return to germany from the us this summer. "unfortunatley" I brought a lot of stuff during my stay and I also want to keep my schoostuff. but what would be the CHEAPEST way to get it over there. The time it takes is not that important but I was shocket to see that just a 30 pound packacle is already as high as 150$ and I might have even more to ship. So is tehre any way I can get it cheaper (ups fedex etc.???) or would it be the cheapest way to pay for a 3rd luggage at the airport? I'm flighing with Lufthansa and it might be just 50$ to add a 40pound suitcase. But I would prefer doing things ahead and just ship ist. Even if it takes up to 8 weeks it's ok I just don't want to pay that much for the air transportation and didn't found an option to change it Thanks for your help guys

  Cheapest... most probably by ship, but my experience with people shipping things -- they lost some things of sentimental value (at the time -- was only a little kid), so now it's virtually nothing. I'm sure you're looking for something that is cheap, but has some kind of guarantee that you'll receive your items you shipped over...
