Okay, if you're from America, the passport cost $100 - The application fee being $75 and the execution fee is $25. You have to complete this at any United States Postal Office. If you need same-day service, you will have to set up an appointment with the Department of Immigration and it will cost $160. If you choose regular service, you can get your passport in 2-4 weeks, depending where you live. I recently applied for mines in October, and got it 3 weeks later. well in the uk it is free, but u need to get a form from ur post office fill it in then get a passport photo, and send it off to the address on the envelope(u get it with the form) i dnt think it costms much, or if it costs +anything at all, but u need to be 13+ to fill in the form urself otherwise u need a parent/guardian to. u should get ur passport in 6-8 weeks i think

You have to go to a US Post Office and fill out an application. Not all Post Offices have the Passport office in them, but there are 9,000 that do. So, find a Post Office in your area. You should take your old passport with you. There is an application fee of $25.00 and then the passport fee is $75.00. They will take a new photo and there is a small charge for that. It takes about 3 or 4 weeks to get it back. I know these facts are true because I just did mine.
