What to bring to Europe?

What should i bring to Europe so i don't fry my ps3?

  • I want to bring my ps3 to romania and i want to know what voltage they have their and what i should bring so i don't fry it when i plug it in. ( like a currency or voltage converter ) which one?

  • Answer:

The power coming out of an outlet in Europe is 220 volts twice the power that comes from a US outlet. Even so, you probably won't need a power converter. Most newer electronics are dual voltage. Check the back or bottom of your ps3 or your owner's manual. If it says it will handle any input voltage from 100 to 240 at 50/60 hz you are good to go anywhere in the world. If it only indicates an input voltage of 120V then you will need a power converter. Agreed with Dorothy. Even though it will work you'll steal need an "outlet converter" cause it is different in europe american outlet: http://www.ultrashock.com/a/preview/40839-electric-outlet-on-green-wallpaper.jpg european outlet: http://www.magazin.euro1.ro/img/p/542-1171-large.jpg even though your ps3 will support European voltage you still need a gizmo to plug it in an European one
