What do i need to pack for a week in newquay?

  • I'm going to newquay on saturday for a week and need to know what to pack. We're staying in a big house that has all kitchen stuff and tv and washing machine and everything but what do i need to pack clothes wise and other essentials? Knowing me i'll pack everything in my wardrobe but whats the best things to pack? Obviously going to newquay i'll be driving down so i can take as much as i can fit in the landrover and dont need to worry about baggage allowance and all that so just some tips on what to pack without going overboard please!

    Our whole summer has been wet and cold up to now, and as September progresses, I expect it to get worse, so mac and wellies, umbrella and jumpers. If there should be an Indian summer, perhaps risk the odd piece of beachwear, also casual clothes for socialising.

These are the basics I would pack - sorry I don't know if you're male or female... 1 waterproof coat 1 or 2 pairs casual shoes/trainers - for walking 1 or 2 pairs evening shoes - for going out 1 pair flip flops/sandals - for the beach and daytime! 4 warm jumpers - hopefully you won't need to wear them! 7 t-shirts 3 evening trousers/skirts etc 4 pairs jeans/casual trousers 7 evening tops/shirts 1 or 2 Swimsuits/bikinis Towels ... and lots of clean undies! (-: Washing Powder and Fabric Conditioner - or buy a two in one to save space Washing up Liquid Tea Towels CD's Don't forget accesories... jewlery, belts, scarf etc

I spent a week in woolacombe, devon last week and the weather was awful i spent most the time wearing thick cardigans and hoodies. I would advise you to bring wellies and flips flops, shoes for beach / walking in the mud and like a couple of pairs of nice shoes for going out etc. BRING AN UMBRELLA and binoculars for checking out the cute surfer boys! ....another word of advise every other person you see will be wearing a newquay lifeguard hoodie...they are as common as muck now so avoid wasting your money on them spesh the cheap copies xo

I just came back from a weeks holiday in cornwall and a raincoat/umbrella is a must! if I were you I wouldn't bring clothes you mind getting a little dirty but that depends on where your going just wrap up warm basically and bring stuff to entertain yourself indoors with e.g. DVD's and games have fun!

Having heard the medium term weather forecast this morning I would suggest the following: Wellington boots. Waterproof jacket and trousers. Umbrella. Heavy duty waterproof hat. Seriously, though, I hope the weather brightens up and you have a super time. I love Newquay.

Two waterproof coats and one pair of waterproof trousers. One pair of shorts, some t-shirts, one light jumper and one warmer one, two pairs of trousers/jeans, plus one nice outfit if you want one for evening wear.
