What countries to travel and how much will it cost?

How much will it cost to travel to these countries?

  • Leaving from the UK, then going to: Iowa in America Mexico Brazil Egypt Jamaica Russia India Australia Indonesia Germany France Spain Japan New Zealand Yup, my friend and I are travelling the world. We want the cost of the plane/boat (what's cheaper?) in pounds please.

  • Answer:

A major part of doing this kind of traveling is doing the planning. If you have to ask total strangers on the internet to do this for you, then you may want to rethink this idea. I suggest that you spend _a lot_ of time with a local travel agent. They will have a hundred questions to ask you about exactly where, when, how long, and so on. It will be impossible to even begin a plan without that kind of information.

There are so many variables involved that this is impossible for someone to estimate for you. You are naming a great number of countries, each of which has many cities to fly between; airfares are different depending on where you fly to. Going by ship (not boat, boats are small) is probably not an option. Cruise ships are expensive and they generally don't travel between the points you've mentioned anyway. Once on land, costs are determined by the types of accommodation, transportation, and meals you choose. If you really want to play around with it, get on a site like Travelocity or Expedia, and throw in some dates and cities. It's going to be very costly just for the airfare costs.

Well, I was recently quoted £2,000 for a 4 stop return to New Zealand but if you're cunning it can be done a lot cheaper. Also, if you're under 26 the travel branch STA can sometimes find you very cheap deals. The only really cheap places on your list are India, Egypt, Indonesia and to a lesser extent some of Russia. However, even a frugal month in India can mount to £300-400. Japan, New Zealand and Australia will suck you dry. I didn't do any activities in New Zealand and seeing the whole country in three weeks cost around £1,500, after the flights. In Australia expect to pay around £120 to £130, often more, for a week in a basic hostel dorm and that's before you've been to the supermarket. You should probably work there. Germany, France and Spain aren't particularly cheap either. America is cheaper than the UK but not third world cheap, and neither is Brazil (Rio anyway). Use InteRail for your European stint. Sorry I think you asked about the flight costs, not travel money. Anyway your itinerary is awesome.

Where and when do you want to travel? Who is going on this trip? then search ..........you get some result. After that choose any one which is suitable for you. Another thing here you can get result for Hotel, Flight & Car but not getting any information about boat.
