What to bring on my first ski trip?

• Ok so my church is goin on this ski trip to some place called wolf creek in colorado and i have never been skiing before. First off what do I bring, what the correct kinda style out there 'cause I really don't want to look stupid out there because lets put it this way this guy I like is going and he said that he would teach me how to ski...someone help me I have no clue what to do, I know that I am going to be in pain and that I will fall etc etc....has anyone ever been to wolf creek in colorado? If so what else was there to do there besides skiing? So if anyone could tell me the basics and what all to wear...color coordination...It would be a super help because im clueless...so a nice long list on the dos and the don'ts and the what you'll needs and you should get...has anyone ever spend new years there? because I think that we are.   Dress for snowy cold windy weather. Heavy jacket, thermal underwear. Bring plenty of socks, as your socks will get wet. Falling isn't that bad when you're padded in heavy clothes and you fall in the snow (unless you break something.) Sunglasses are good. Check out their website for other things to do. Usually it's all about the skiing. Lodges usually have hottubs. After hours there are usually bars. Bring a camera because the views are spectacular, especially from the ski lift. Make it a small, portable, don't mind if you break it camera, though. Don't be afraid to try it out, and have fun!
