Delivery time from US to Australia via USPS?

Delivery time on USPS First Class Mail International shipping to Australia?

  • Hey, i ordered a PC game for $85 from Urbana, Illinois, United States and i was just wondering how long it will take "USPS First Class Mail International" to be delivered. I've traked the package on their website and its been 'Your item was processed through our ISC CHICAGO IL (USPS) facility on December 26, 2011 at 12:36 am. The item is currently in transit to the destination.' for 4 days now, any ideas on where the package is now and how long it'll take to reach Australia??

No idea at all, except that it will probably be longer than you want it to be. Without a customs delay, I would say 7 to 10 days. The big unknown, however, is the length of time it will take to pass through customs. Some things get through in a day or two; some things take weeks. We cannot make any useful prediction about your game. You may not see any more updates once the item leaves the US, because the US post office has no control over it then. I don't know if the Australian post office can or would update a US tracking number.
