When will I get my USPS package if it is already processed?

When a USPS package has been processed at the major city near you, do you get it that day?

  • I'm just a little anxious.

  • Answer:

Sometimes, but there's no guarantee. It could take a day or two more. At least you know it's in the system and on the way.

No. If the Processing Facility for your Post Office is in that major city, it will go to your local delivery office the next morning to be processed by that office to be delivered to you. If it is not a first class or Priority parcel, it will not be processed that morning, but later in the afternoon, depending upon how much 1st class/Priority mail has to be sorted. Then the parcel should go out the next morning to you.

Generally speaking, it takes at least 1 additional day, maybe two, depending on Sundays, holidays, etc.
