Going on a world trip. Where can I find guides?

I am planning on going to Peru, Chile, Thailand, Kuwait, Indonesia, Japan, Kenya, Somalia, and Morocco. Where can I find people to guide me through foreign cities, or the landscape outside urban areas? I have someone helping me to find hotels, but I would like to have indigenous guides etc.

Oh awesome, traveling! Personally, out of those, I've only ever been to Kenya and Thailand, but as far as I can see if you can speak even a few words of the language you can hire a guide. Make sure you don't get ripped off though! I'd recommend bringing a book or two on the subject.I guess we'll test it--- Wish me luck, I'm going backpacking through China in a bit :D.
