Why won't my briefcase open?

How can i open a master combination lock on my briefcase?

  • hey guys, so i have a briefcase with a master combination lock on it and i have completely forgotten the combonation. it looks like this http://www.pgntech.com/Stock%20Images/bigstockphoto_Closeup_Of_Briefcase_Lock_In__316931.jpg it is mine, its got loads of important info i need to go on holiday like passports and stuff. so i really need to open it and i wana save my money for the holiday rather than spending it on going to the locksmiths. thanks

    If you have set it yourself in the past, try all combinations you think are logical, like a date, 123, 888 and so on. If not works, try each combination in turn. One evening while watching tv will do. It has only 3 digits for each lock. Start with 000, 001, 002 and so on till you have done all.

Start with 000 and go from there!? Seriously, I once found the code for a 3 digit combination lock this way, only took about an hour.

Unless you want to sit there for hours, working out the combination for the lock, then there is only one option, BREAK IT.
