How do I bring my house plants to Italy from USA?
-
I hope for some advice. I have one small reed palm and small lucky bamboo plants that live indoor. I wonder if I can take them with me to the airport in my suitcase which is not carry-on. If it is not possible, can I ship them in a box? Thanks.

Answer:
Most countries have serious restrictions on bringing any kind of plants into the country. You might want to check with customs before your trip. I doubt it would be allowed.

You can't. No imports of fruits, vegetables, meats...and of course plants. You don't want foreign species destroying local species.
